LnL Recording is a privately owned and operated multi-track recording studio located in Elgin, Illinois. We specialize in producing high quality audio recordings for local musicians. If your goal is to record and release your own independent CD, then you've come to the right place. We can produce a fully mixed and mastered product for you - ready for duplication. Or perhaps you just need a professional sounding demo in order to pitch your music to publishers, record companies, A&R reps or local club owners. We can provide what you need!

The majority of the work we do here involves local rock bands (metal, pop, punk, etc.) but we've also recorded quite a few blues, jazz and country bands. Also gospel, folk and karaoke. We'll book just about any style of music although we are currently not accepting any of the modern urban R&B/Hip Hop styles or generally anything that is specifically synth/sample-based.

Our studio proudly uses Samplitude Pro V10 and Sonar Producer 8 as our primary recording/audio editing applications. We also use Sonic Core Scope Pro recording hardware and software. These products are installed in a customized Wintel Core 2 Duo computer workstation which has been configured specifically for multi-track audio recording.

For all you gearheads out there, following is a detailed listing of some of the stuff in our studio. You can never have enough stuff. He who dies with the most stuff wins. Click on the links to see the specs for each item.

Mastering -  Mastering is the final coat of polish which is applied to a recording before a CD is sent out for mass duplication. You can read more about this process in the FAQ section. Standard studio rates apply. A complete CD can usually be mastered in less than a day. 

Radio Shows/Commercials/Audio Books - We can pre-record your independently produced radio show or radio commercials here. Also, any spoken word or narration type projects such as audio books, voice-overs, church sermons, comedy albums, in-store announcements or music, etc.

CD Replication/Duplication - We are an authorized studio partner with Disc Makers - one of the largest and best CD replicating companies in the world. Call for pricing and information.

Talent Pool - If you need talented session musicians to complete your project, we can help. We have partnered with some of the finest musical talent in the Chicagoland area. The costs vary depending on the project. Contact us for more info.
